Children's Ministry at Emmanuel
At EBC, the KidsZone allows children (infant through 6th grade) to experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
We provide one-on-one care providers ("buddies") as requested for children with unique needs so all children are able to participate and be included in the KidsZone.
You and your family are invited to come and visit the KidsZone!
Your first visit
Here's what to expect when visiting KidsZone for the first time:
Find the area marked Kid's Check-in. A volunteer will meet your family, check your child into the system, and will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
Before Service: Check-in your child at the Kid's Check-in kiosk, you and your child will be given matching tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the main screen. We ask that you exit the auditorium and head to the Kid's Check-in area and a volunteer will direct you to your child’s room.
Parent's Listening Room
EBC KidsZone offers childcare during service for infants. There is also a Parent's Listening Room that is available for mothers and fathers with infants. This room is reserved exclusively for parents with infants to enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment.
Meet our Children's Ministry Assistant- Krista Greenwell
I love music, Disney, the outdoors and dance. I relocated to Ohio from Maryland for school and then work, and have been a part of the EBC family since 2010. I have a varied background from farm-kid, to the military and currently a professional ballroom dancer. My favorite part of working in the Children’s ministry is hearing how the kids engage the world and the scripture.
