EBC Garden
The Emmanuel Community Garden provides an opportunity for those who need or want to grow their own food. Planting, caring for, and harvesting produce from group plots take place mostly during Saturday morning and Tuesday evening under the guidance of experienced gardeners (no prior gardening experience necessary). In addition to providing for the needs of our own families, excess produce is intentionally grown and shared with the community through multiple local ministries.
Gatherings
The Gatherings Team helps host EBC events. Activities include setting up, organizing, and tearing down.
Grounds & Building Maintenance
Volunteers are needed to help maintain both the grounds and the building facility. Outdoor projects include such things as weeding, pruning, and mowing. Facility and maintenance projects range from equipment repairs to flooring and painting.
Provide a Meal
The EBC family strives to bless families who have a need for meals on a temporary basis. Some examples would include a new baby, suffering from a loss, or recovering from a medical procedure. Please consider adding your name to the list of volunteers who provide a meal.*
*Adding your name to the list of volunteers does not obligate you to provide a meal each time there is a need. An invitation will be sent from TakeThemAMeal.com which allows you the opportunity to volunteer if you are available.
Prayer Line
There are moments in the EBC family when an urgent prayer request is sent out separate from the weekly e-ncoucements. This group of people commits to praying for those requests.
